Standard/Required Uniform

• WWII or Korean War Helmet with correct liner and chin strap
• Jeep cap (wool) repro or original
• M-1941 or M-1943 field jacket
• Enlisted wool shirt and pants or HBT - 1941 pants and shirt jacket
• T-shirt white or olive drab
• Boots (your choice)
  Russet brown field service shoes, type 2 (early war)
  Rough out field service shoes, type 3 (mid war)
  M-1943 double buckle service shoes (mid war)
• Canvas leggings (optional) not required for M-43 shoes
• M-1928 haversack
• Shovel, T-handle or folding (your choice) with canvas cover
• 10 pouch M-1 cartridge belt
• Carlisle medical pouch with first aid kit
• Olive drab wool blankets, no green
• Mess kit with cover, fork, knife and spoon
• M-1 Garand bayonet with scabbard (10 or 16 inch)
• Green G.I. socks

M-1 Garand rifle with canvas or leather sling (no pistols or carbines)

NO ENEMY EQUIPMENT OR WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED

It must be pointed out that some WW 1 field gear was used during World War II. Some examples: canteens, haversacks and 10-pouch cartridge belts. All World War II-dated items are fine for reenacting. Post World War II items from 1946-50 are also good. In late 1950 during the Korean War, most uniforms and field equipment changed in both style and color. These cannot be used.
